In a fresh display of hands-on leadership, Governor Uba Sani, of Kaduna State, has embarked on a comprehensive inspection tour of key infrastructure projects cutting across multiple Local Government Areas, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to sustainable development, rural-urban integration, and social upliftment.

The Governor began his tour at the 35-kilometre Gadan Gayan–Gwaraji–Maraban Kujama–Kauru road, a critical artery linking Igabi, Chikun, and Kauru LGAs. The road, now nearing completion, is accompanied by an imposing 9-span bridge across the River Kaduna – both of which are set to revolutionize mobility, trade, and emergency access within the state’s central corridor.
Also inspected was the strategic Raɓah Road, connecting the Western Bypass to the bustling Rigasa Train Station, a hub for commuters and goods transportation. Governor Sani further assessed the dualisation of the Kabala Costain–Aliyu Makama link road, a key urban mobility project aimed at decongesting inner Kaduna.
In a show of Kaduna’s commitment to social inclusion, the Governor visited the Qatar Sanabil Project, a housing initiative for indigent families jointly executed with Qatar Charity. The project, nearing commissioning, stands as a testament to the administration’s resolve to uplift vulnerable citizens through global partnerships.
“I am truly impressed with the pace and quality of work delivered so far,” Governor Sani said, stressing that all contractors must stay on course for timely delivery. “These projects are not just about concrete and asphalt—they are about lives, livelihoods, and the future of Kaduna”.
The Governor’s tour signals a renewed drive to complete ongoing projects that will catalyze economic activity, open up underserved areas, and tangibly improve living standards across the state.
